Pumpkin Two Ways and some updates

Tis the season for pumpkin. Two ways.  Many weeks ago in fact I began to see pumpkin take over the interwebs. I’m pretty late to the game having seen all my favorite bloggers already post pumpkin recipes. Better late than never right? One reason I have been so busy and not blogging as much; I launched a test group a few weekends ago for a new “Advanced” program for Wellness Reboot. Many people who did the 28-day program were like “What’s next?”.… Read more

Red Quinoa Sushi with Purple Asparagus

May Cooking By Color – Purple/Blue I have finally broken by cooking video dry spell!! I do apologize for taking so long. Pumpkin Polenta, Good Anytime of the Year

March Cooking By Color – Orange Polenta is one of those grains that gets shoved in the back of the pantry and forgotten. Then when I decide to make it I remember how much I love it and will eat it for days on end. That is what happened with this dish. I guess it was only natural that with an opened can of pumpkin I would be making this dish again. I like polenta because it takes less than 10 minutes to make and is so versatile.… Read more

Curried Quinoa Salad with Edamame and Orange

Cooking By Color – Green I always have cooked quinoa laying around. Well, not literally strewn about the house (I’m not an animal ;). I make it in big batches so I can easily throw it in salads, serve it up with some beans and greens, or transform it into it’s own dish. When thinking of what green thing would partner well with quinoa, edamame came to mind. Then I thought to myself, I haven’t had edamame in ages. So off to the store I went.… Read more
