Happy Holidays From The Blissful Chef!

As the year comes to a close I take time to reflect on all that I’ve accomplished and take a moment to be grateful for everything in my life. That includes YOU!

Big thanks and gratitude to everyone that has ever come to a cooking class or a conference and said hello, left comments on my blog or other social media, and has allowed me to be a part of their healthy journey. Some of you have been there since the beginning and it’s been a fun roller-coaster ride! Some of you are just joining my community and I’m so thankful you are here! 2014 has many things in store for me and you!

A very exciting thing that happened this year was my nomination and win of The Most Inspiring Local Vegan Athlete in the Vegans Rock Austin Best of 2013 Poll. Big thanks to everyone that voted! And congrats to everyone that won!

I’m combining my two websites into one and changing my brand a little bit. Since fitness has become a big part of my life and I will be getting my personal training certification in January I need to incorporate that somehow into my brand. I’d love to know what you think of my new idea! I’m thinking “The Blissful Fit Chef ” or “The Blissful (& Fit) Chef”. What do you think? Do you have any fun ideas? I’d love to hear them in the comments! This also means that my two blogs will merge and this space will be changing as well.

  1. Congratulations! What an exciting job to land!

For the new name, “Blissfully Fit” popped into my head, but it would mean dropping the chef connection. I like Diana’s suggestion of “Blissful Food & Fitness” – short, neat, to the point. Either way, I look forward to seeing the next updates… Good luck!

  2. I wish you the best of luck in all your new endeavors. I always look forward to your emails since they offer me so much inspiration and guidance and recipes. I think you should rename “The Blissfully Fit Chef”. I will be looking forward to your combined efforts. I am also looking into a subscription for Vegan Health & Fitness magazine. Wishing you a very happy, healthy New Year. Thank you for all you have done for me and the community we share.
