3-Day Juice Cleanse with Skinny Limits Complete!

Hey guys! Watch the video above for a short recap of the 3 day juice cleanse I did this week with Skinny Limits. When I went into it I gave myself permission to eat (ideally raw and not very much), but was hoping I would be able to push through it with just the juice. It didn’t happen that way but pretty darn close!

Tuesday – Day 1

Felt pretty good. Since I have been fasting till noon the last 3 months it was not that difficult in the morning. I started my morning with a HIIT session at Beyond Fit then went to Austin’s gym and did a huge leg day breaking records and trying new machines. I had 1/2 a banana while I was training. Later that afternoon I nibbled on some spring rolls I had purchased at Skinny Limits. Went to bed early.

Wednesday – Day 2

Decided to take the day off from the gym/work and just hangout. I watched a movie, relaxed, cleaned my office, and enjoyed my day. By mid-day I was really hungry and had a headache.  I could not stop yawning, so I made a cherry banana smoothie with one of the green juices, some of the cashew milk, and added protein powder. I did some squats while I watched videos on YouTube, then I went to babysit a friend’s kids. Hunger didn’t set in as strongly that evening and I went to bed early.

Thursday – Day 3

I knew the end was coming and that was helpful in pushing through. I had to substitute teach this day and a cold front blew through Austin. It was freezing. All I could think about was having a warm bowl of soup, so around 2pm I went to Wheatsville and got their tiniest cup of soup. That gave me the energy to push through an awesome back/shoulder day at the gym with Austin. I killed it. Then went to Beyond Fit for HIIT training. I was really struggling at that point. Every Thursday everyone goes to taco night at Casa de Luz after the gym. I said screw it and went with them to have soup and salad. It was super healthy, no-oil, and delicious.

Today I woke up feeling great. I had a delicious polenta porridge and headed to the gym. My tastebuds are so alive since going unprocessed 2 weeks ago and after the juice cleanse. I’ve been doing a 30 Day Squat Challenge for the last 12 days and I had a hard time doing my weighted squats. But I guess that’s to be expected since I’m up to 260 squats in a day (of different variations). I did break my chest press record. Some days you’ve got it and some days you don’t. I’m starting to relax and not be so negative on myself when weight training. This is all possible because I’m now weight training 4 times a week instead of 2.
