My life as a chef and future cookbook author
My days are pretty much consumed with working on my book and organizing the cooking classes I teach. I get some writing in for the many sites I contribute to as well (Elephant Journal, Christina Cooks site, 80% Raw Magazine). I feel so blessed that every day when I wake up I get to do what I love and help people in return. Ever since culinary school where I not only learned how to prepare mouth-watering, healthy cuisine, but learned Chinese Medicine, how the organs function together like a symphony, and how our food affects everything about us; all I've ever wanted to do is help people. Now with a published cookbook, coming out in Summer 2011, I'll be able to reach even more people, and help them experience and follow their bliss.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to give a big thank you to all of you, to my friends, family, and all my teachers that have touched me along this journey. I also want to give a big shout out and thank you to all my amazing recipe testers that have been working hard and slaving away in their kitchens. They have made this process so much fun for me and their feedback has been invaluable. So thanks Lisa, Judith, Danielle, Ryan, and Carrie!
